MARDI GRAS THROWDOWN BEFORE SHUTDOWN

 As most of you know, Lucky City Wine and Ale is scheduled to be closed Feb. 12 through Feb. 23.  The ABC Commission is expecting us to pay them $1200, but we're going to close down instead.  This should make the City Manager and Michael Pearce very happy - 12 days with no alcohol in their downtown                         

Before we shut the doors, we're going to have a major Mardi Gras style throwdown.  Debbie is going to whip up her famous Jambalaya, Jerry will be bringing crawfish and alligator from Talk of the Town Restaurant, and $2 Abita Beer (from Abita Springs, Louisiana) will be available.

Turn up the Zydeco, put on your beads, loose fitting, easy to remove clothes, and wear a mask.   This party is going to rock!

Soup for the day will be bonemeal and gris, and poke salad with cheetah berries will delight revelers.
